DAY 16...Where the wild Things Are
"You cannot find peace by avoiding life." -Virginia Woolf
Perhaps you remember reading "Where the Wild Things Are" as a kid. It's about a kid who is sent to his room for misbehaving. His imagination takes off and he finds himself in a far off land with other "wild things."

Though he his made king. Though he is in charge of everything he finds himself...lonely. He has run away from everything he loves. He has shunned those who are trying to help change his behavior. He longs to be back with his family.
The appeal and temptations of things that hurt us, in this case pornography, is strong. There are reasons one can give for going to "that place." Ultimately it makes us lonely and the things that we think make us happy, simply, don't. We need to leave that place and go back to where those who love us care for us. We need to go back to reality and quit pornography.
