DAY 30...Don't Stop, Don't Start Over

"Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." - Alfred (Batman Begins)

In the last 30 days have you messed up? Have you fallen off the horse? Have you watched pornography? Probably.

We hope you did say, "Oh this isn't working, I'm done." or "Let me go back and start from the beginning." It has never been the expectation of this program to get you to stop on day one. If you did, great. But it's doubtful that you did. How exhausting it would be to go to the beginning and start all over again, every time we fell. We'd never see day 30 or day 60 or in some cases, tomorrow. God gives us a new day, every day. He doesn't instruct us to just do yesterday day over. We must keep moving forward.

Barry Sanders wasn't a big guy, but he never stopped pumping his legs and he was one of the toughest guys in the NFL to tackle. Watch some of his highlight video.
Never stop pumping your legs. You might get hit, you might even fall down. Get back up and head down field.

So look back at the last month. The last 30 days, hopefully you're keeping track on the battle tracker of your falls and victories. Remember it's all about the GOOD WOLF. Don't focus on the setbacks, focus on the victories. Were there bigger gaps between each fall? Were there less days that you viewed pornography than in the month previous? Did you pray more, or connect with people more? If yes, then you're doing it right. This month, make it even less viewing and more connections.

It's not about starting over when you fall, its about making the time between each fall greater and greater until it doesn't happen again.

Today's Instructions:
A. Pray for the day, for friends, for family, for enemies. Thanksgiving, Requests, Praise.
B. In the Fortify Program, Update the battle tracker. Go to Week 5. Check out, "S.T.A.R. Part 1" and "Do You Think This Could Help?"
C. Go to the daily readings and read today's Scripture.
D. Journal the following: 1. Is there someone you've stepped into "attack mode" with that you could have loved better? 2. What can you do that offers love to others when you get angry with them?

Today's Tips: When the urges come get up. Stop. Breathe. Pray. Thank you note day. Get up, write a thank you note, stamp it, put it in the mail.

God give you strength. See you tomorrow.

Don't ever come back to this page to start over. This is the launching pad. You've already begun, even if you fall.
If you want to review this page, please do, but do not come back here to start over.
